Digital X-Ray
If clinically warranted, we are able to perform x-rays on-site with the latest technology, allowing Dr. Levin to view detailed “real-time” digital images of the foot that can be enhanced for in-depth examination. |
Diagnostic Ultrasound
On-site diagnostic ultrasound is used for examination of injuries to tendons and ligaments, as well as for identification of masses such as cysts or to assess for deep tissue abscesses. |
Peripheral Arterial Disease Testing
Our office provides on-site non-invasive testing for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI). After an initial consultation, Dr. Levin will determine if you need this exam. |
Cryotherapy
Dr. Levin offers options for treating patient with plantar warts. Most patients are aware of well-known over-the-counter wart creams and ointments and physically cutting the warts out, but Dr. Levin offers a cryotherapy treatment used in the office that “freezes” the wart. This usually requires several sessions, but many patients prefer the non-invasive route, especially for children. |
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is a procedure used to eliminate varicose veins and “spider veins.” This procedure involves an injection of a solution directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to swell and stick together, and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. Sclerotherapy is a well-proven procedure and has been in use since the 1930’s.
Dr. Levin performs “spider vein” sclerotherapy in the office for those patients who are appropriate candidates, after initial consultation. Sclerotherapy is considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance companies. |
Orthotics
Many people with foot pain benefit from appropriate and specific arch supports in conjunction with proper shoe gear. During your appointment, Dr. Levin will determine if orthotics are necessary. If customized orthotics are prescribed, he will make a mold of your feet. Although orthotics are not typically covered by insurance, they provide the non-invasive conservative solution that most people want and need. |
Compression Stocking and Diabetic Socks
We offer a full-line of “over-the-counter” and “medical-grade” compression socks and hosiery, as well as socks that meet the specific needs of our patients with diabetes. Dr. Levin will determine if such products are needed, and our office can fit you for the appropriate size. |
Diabetic Shoes
We carry quality Medicare-approved diabetic shoes. These shoes meet strict Medicare guidelines to be safe for diabetic patients. Our friendly staff will take care of all the certification forms required. |
Skin and Nail Treatments
If you have skin and toe nail concerns, call our office for an appointment. Dr. Levin will provide an examination of your feet and discuss his findings and treatment alternatives. |
