Dr. Levin believes and emphasizes that healthy feet promote overall orthopedic health. Many patients with foot pain also complain of back, neck, and even headache pain. The feet are the base and foundation that support the weight of our entire body. And, poor foot posture can impede daily activities.

She worked full-time (while going to school full-time) in retail management during her studies at U.S.F, and continued in that field after graduation.

She moved to Athens, Georgia hoping to pursue a graduate degree in English at the University of Georgia. She later decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing, and (since living in Athens, GA at that time) worked on science pre-reqs at the University of Georgia. During that coursework, she was accepted to SONAT (Medical College of Georgia's School of Nursing satellite campus in Athens). As a nursing student, Diane worked as a nurse extern at St Mary's Hospital in Athens while in school. Her last semester involved dedicated clinical hours in an Emergency Department.

Diane graduated with a B.S.N. Six months later, she transferred to the ER. While in the ER, she worked as a nurse, student preceptor, and department educator. At this time, Diane met Stephen, and she is now the Office Manager and RN here at New Tampa Foot & Ankle.
